MUNDY TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(07/23/12) - As the August primary election approaches, activity is picking up on the campaign trail.
Monday, Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell made his case for re-election at a Flint Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon in Mundy Township.
Pickell faces two challengers in his bid for the Democratic nomination. Retired Flint police officer Tim Johnson and Argentine Township chief Dan Allen spoke to the same group last week.
No Republicans are on the ballot.
Primary Election Day is Aug. 7.
