(07/25/12) - Is Michigan a swing state in the upcoming presidential election?

It may depend on which poll you believe.

Two reports out now paint two very different stories.

According to published reports, a survey conducted by Mitchell Research and Communication has Republican Challenger Mitt Romney ahead of President Obama by one point.

While a poll by Rasmussen has the President ahead by six points over Mitt Romney.

    (9/14/14) - Roughly 400-500 community members made their way out for the Second Annual "Stop the Violence" event in Flint Sunday. Beginning with a parade that started at East Pierson Road and culminating at Berston Field House, rally-goers were met with a slew of vendors, activities and food that was put on by the Community Take-Back Organization. And with violent crime down in the city this year, the new theme attached to the event this time around was a "Celebration of Life".

    (09/14/14) - Flint Police need your help tracking down two armed robbers.They have surveillance photos from inside the Holiday Inn Express on Robert T. Longway showing the two men.Police say the men walked into the hotel, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.The robbery happened just before 2:30 Sunday morning.No one was hurt.But police say the men should be considered armed and dangerous.Call Flint Police at 810-237-6801 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP if you know who they are.
