Game On! Local Athletes Go For Gold

GENESEE COUNTY (WJRT) -

(07/27/12) - Several Mid-Michigan athletes are taking part in the summer games hoping to bring back gold.

Flint boxer Claressa Shields and Grand Blanc's Geena Gall  are both representing Mid-Michgian.

ABC12 has learned that Claressa Shields received a first-round bye at the London Olympics.
 
Gall will have to wait more than a week to compete in the women's 800 meter run.
