GENESEE TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -

(07/28/12) - 25,000 people - that's how many competitors are taking part in a crazy competition in Mid-Michigan this weekend.

It's called the Warrior Dash.

It's the second year the event has taken over the E.A. Cummings Center in Genesee Township.

Warrior Dashers do everything from jump over fire, to crawling in the mud.

This year organizers changed things up. "It is a little bit harder this year from my experience. There are 13 obstacles total. There are two fire pits, Warrior roasts we call it. Every obstacle challenges people in different way," said Kendra Alley, the race director.
