A few weeks ago we told you about three peregrine falcons born on top of the Northbank Center in Flint. One of the trio was a little too anxious to leave the nest.
FLINT (WJRT) -
(07/31/12) - A falcon born atop of the Northbank Center in Flint tried to leave the nest too early Monday, but DNR workers managed to capture him safely.
They believe strong winds lifted the bird to a parking structure across the street.
He wasn't strong enough to fly, so he was stuck.
After a few tries, the DNR was finally able to get him.
The bird is OK.
This is the second time one of the young falcons tried to leave the nest early.
