(07/31/12) - An arrest has been made, and charges have been issued, in the murder of a 16 year old in Flint earlier this month.
33-year-old Timothy Griffin, of Flint, now faces open murder, felon in possession of a weapon and felony firearm charges in the July 22 shooting death of Markise Parker.
It happened at the River Park Apartments, off of Carpenter Road, around 5 that morning.
Family tells us Markise was days away from getting his GED and had enrolled in a Job Corps program in Grand Rapids.
State Police tell ABC12 Griffin was arrested and charged last week.
They say the alleged shooter was a cousin of the victim.
