MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) -
(08/01/12) - 2011 Indianapolis 500 runner-up JR Hildebrand visited Mid-Michigan Wednesday.
The second-year IndyCar racer swung by ABC12 before heading to the GM Customer Care and Aftersales Headquarters in Grand Blanc.
The life-long car fan says it's an honor to be in an area with so much car-making history.
Hildebrand didn't have his usual number '4' car with him Wednesday. He's traveling with a number '12' "show car" from June's Belle Isle Grand Prix.
