(08/02/12) - The Detroit man charged in last month's triple murder, in Flint, will undergo forensic testing.

The testing is to determine if James Simpkins II is competent to stand trial and if he can be held criminally responsible.

Simpkins is accused of murdering his own brother, two others and injuring another, all from Detroit, after an argument fueled by a night of drinking and drugs.

The shootings happened inside of a home on Tacken near Court on Flint's westside, early the morning of July 18.

The deceased victims have been identified as 21-year-old Anthony Simpkins, 21-year-old Ericka Billingsley and 36-year-old Bobby Jackson.
