BAY COUNTY (WJRT) -
(08/03/12) - Customers who attended the Cash for Scrap Gold Event at the Bay Valley Resort and Conference Center in Bay County may finally get a break.
THR Associates of Springfield, Illinois hosted the event. They offered to buy scrap gold and pay customers in the form of a check.
The only problem - customers received bad checks.
THR Associates says those who got bad checks will get their money back.
The company will also take care of any bank fees.
Anyone who received a bad check should call 217-679-1718 ext 142 and ask for Frank Ross.
