Questions about the future of Bay City Pig Gig - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(08/03/12) - In Bay City Friday, the grill was hot with delicious food, but there are questions about the event's future.

The 20th annual Pig Gig is going on until Sunday in Bay City's Veterans Memorial Park.

This year's gig features four concerts.

A 5k run and a Harley Davidson teddy bear ride are also part of this year's extravaganza.

The pig gig serves as a fundraiser for dozens of non-profit organizations, but one organizer is asking for help so the Pig Gig can continue.

"It's a lot of work and it takes a lot of time and I'm hoping some of the non-profit organizations might step up. A couple of the rib competitors, so I want to see the event continue and I will definitely be involved. I just don't know if I will be the sole organizer," said Pig Gig organizer Wendy Dore.
