Jennifer Profitt joined the ABC12 news team in June 2012 as a general assignment reporter.
A Mid-Michigan native, Jennifer was raised in Bridgeport, Mich. and graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a double major in political science and journalism. While at UM-Flint, she worked as the editor-in-chief of the student-run newspaper, The Michigan Times.
After graduating, Jennifer landed her first broadcasting job in Traverse City, Mich. as a reporter with WWTV/WFQX. While there, she covered nearly every snow-covered inch of the northwest lower peninsula.
Jennifer is thrilled to be reporting in her old stomping grounds. In her down time, she enjoys reading, trying to cook and watching Doctor Who.
