
(08/06/12) - A man who helped empower physically challenged people to participate in sports, has died.
Forty-one-year-old Jeff Coupie passed away Sunday at his home in Bay City.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
Coupie was the director of Michigan Sports Unlimited, an organization which promotes adaptive sports for people with disabilities.
His funeral service will be held Thursday in Pinconning.
