(08/09/12) - Lunchtime was a little bit sweeter than usual for some kids in Flint Thursday.
They enjoyed a visit from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan's ice cream truck.
The truck delivers treats like cake, cookies and ice cream - of course - to summer food programs around Mid-Michigan.
Kids also received take home nutrition bags containing fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and fruit juice to supplement their regular meals.
It's part of the Food Bank's summer program, which uses federal funds to provide meals to children when school programs are not in operation.
