MONTROSE TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(08/13/12) - There is new information about the man whose body was found Friday in Genesee County's Montrose Township.
The Oakland County medical examiners office says 55-year-old Patrick Mikes senior died after being hit multiple times on the head.
The Troy man's death was ruled a homicide.
Police believe Mikes was killed by his 21-year-old son, Patrick Mikes junior, who pleaded not guilty to open murder charges and is still in jail.
Authorities say they think Mikes was killed in his basement.
His two sons said he left on his bike July 27 and reported him missing July 29.
