Flint city council to look into Brown's actions

Posted: Updated:

(8/13/12) - The Flint City Council has voted 7-0 to hold investigative hearings into the actions of former Emergency Manager Mike Brown.

Monday evening, council members said they wanted to know why Brown signed the orders he did before leaving office last week.

Council member Scott Kincaid tells ABC12, among the orders being looked at include Brown selling The Genesee Towers to Uptown Development for $1. He also issued $750,000 to the group for demolition of the building.

Council will meet later this week to discuss when the investigative hearings will start.
