(08/22/12) - Downtown Flint businesses say Back to the Bricks went extremely well, and they're excited for this weekend's Crim.
"My first customer followed me when I got here at 5 o'clock in the morning on Saturday," says Flint Crepe Company's Rob McCullough. "And it did not stop at all until we closed our doors at night."
El Potrero waitress Maria Martinez echoes, "Oh it was great! Everybody had good things to say, nobody said anything bad."
Both restaurants are still learning and growing, in their first years of existence. McCullough says he had to change the way he marketed some of his crepes to appeal to the Back to the Bricks crowd.
"The French Dip became the Philly Steak and Cheese, and we let them know what was going in the Crepe a little closer to the time of sale... but once they tried it, they came back."
