FLINT (WJRT) -

(08/22/12) - More than 100 people packed the pews inside of Foss Avenue Baptist Church.

They came together for a prayer protest and civil rights rally.

A group of citizens led by Concerned Pastors of Social Action and the North Flint Reinvestment Corporation submitted a list of "desired outcomes" to Flint Emergency Manager Ed Kurtz.

There are eight items on the list, including a request to drop water rates and remove the order to put a public safety millage on the ballot.

The group is planning a second rally Saturday morning during the Crim if they do not hear back from Kurtz.
