(08/24/12) - Mere hours remain before thousands of athletes line Saginaw Street in Flint for the Crim Festival of Races.
You can feel the excitement building downtown.
Those heading to the flat lot Friday will feel like they've entered a time machine.
It's '80s night - time for a blast from the past - when break dancers could clear the dance floor and big hair ruled.
So grab your acid-washed jeans, Madonna hair bows and florescent colors - and join in the fun.
Partiers can dress like it's the '80s and hear music from ROCKSTAR and the Square Pegs.
You can even get your hair done '80s style while you are there.
It's all free and there truly is something for everyone at this year's pre-party.
Friday's '80s party runs from 5:30-9:30 p.m., and this year, for the first time, the UAW is really driving home the '80s theme with American-made cars from that time period.
ABC12 will be there to bring you all the '80s fun, we'll check in with the pasta party - which is also running this evening - for runners looking to do a little carb loading, and we will be here for the Special Olympics Race.
