Nearly 100 reported sick at Saginaw Correctional Facility - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(09/05/12) - Nearly 100 people are now reported sick at the Saginaw Correctional Facility.

According to the Saginaw News, 89 prisoners and seven staff members at the prison in Tittabawassee Township have gotten sick from E. coli.

Affected inmates are being quarantined. Four have been taken to hospitals for further treatment.

The type of E. coli affecting them can cause kidney failure.
