MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) -
(09/11/12) - Funeral arrangements are set for a Mid-Michigan police officer shot and killed while responding to a call in suburban Detroit.
Patrick O'Rourke, a West Bloomfield Township Police officer, was responding to domestic situation Sunday when a man inside the home opened fire - killing him.
The 20 hour standoff that ended with the suspect found dead in the home.
Visitation for O'Rourke is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home in Highland Township.
The funeral is scheduled for 10:30 Friday morning at St John the Evangelist Parish in Fenton.
