
(09/24/12) - One way to fight crime is to invest in children. That was the message coming out of the Saginaw County Great Start Collaborative board meeting Monday in Saginaw.
A new report from "Fight Crime, Invest in Kids" is calling on state and federal lawmakers to continue support of high-quality education programs as a strategy to reduce crime.
The Saginaw collaborative also unveiled a new plan to help children.
State Senator Roger Kahn received an award for his support of children's programs in the state.
