WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(09/25/12) - A prayer vigil is planned for a Mid-Michigan police officer who was shot to death while responding to a 911 call in suburban Detroit.
The vigil for Officer Patrick O'Rourke is planned for Friday night in West Bloomfield Township.
O'Rourke, who lived in Tyrone Township, was killed earlier this month while responding to a call about a man believed to be suicidal.
His funeral was in Fenton.
