The suspended Buena Vista Township police officer accused of killing a pregnant woman made a brief court appearance Monday.

(09/26/12) - It was day two of testimony in the case of a suspended police officer accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend.
Ken Bluew is charged with strangling Jennifer Webb last year.
Prosecutors say Bluew, who is married, tried to make it look like a suicide to avoid paying child support.
Sgt. Tim Patterson was the first witness to take the stand Wednesday morning. He was on duty with Bluew when Webb's Body was found in Buena Vista Township.
Prosecutor Mike Thomas brought up the topic that has come up both days in the trial: Webb's cell phone. Patterson told Thomas he was with Bluew on Aug. 30 at the scene. When he looked in Webb's cell phone, he noticed Bluew's number in her call logs.
Patterson said Bluew told him he and Webb talked from time to time. Patterson said he felt uneasy about the call logs.
