FARMINGTON HILLS (WJRT) -
(09/26/12) - The son of former Bay City swimmer Rose Cirpriano is competent to stand trial for the baseball bat beatings of his family.
A psychiatrist made the determination during a hearing Tuesday in Oakland County.
Tucker Cipriano and Mitchell Young are charged with murder and attempted murder in the April 16 attack at the family's home in Farmington Hills.
Tucker's father, Robert, died in the attack. His mother and 17-year-old brother, Sal, survived.
Mitchell Young is expected in court Wednesday.
The case could go to trial next spring.
