OAKLAND COUNTY (WJRT) -
(10/01/12) - His body was found dumped in Genesee County's Montrose Township in August.
Monday, we learned his son will stand trial in his murder.
22-year-old Patrick Mikes Junior will be formally charged in Oakland County Circuit Court later this month.
Investigators believe he beat to death his father, Patrick Mikes Senior.
The judge also denied a request by Mikes defense lawyer to suppress bloody evidence found during a search.
Mikes Junior faces up to life in prison if convicted.
He's pleaded not guilty.
