SAGINAW COUNTY (WJRT) -
(10/01/12) - Two new road projects are now underway, and they may make your travels around Saginaw County difficult.
First, four miles of I-75 are being repaired - from Janes Road to just past the I-675 North junction - in Buena Vista Township.
There will lane closures and even full, overnight road closures during the project - which includes a complete replacement of the Janes Road bridge, over 75.
In Saginaw Township, a project is underway on one of the busiest roads in the county. Count on traffic tie-ups for the next month or so on Tittabawassee Road from Mackinaw to Bay.
The pavement will be replaced during the project, and lanes will be closed.
All the businesses along that stretch of Tittabawassee will be accessible, but the road commission asks you find an alternate route when possible.
