(10/02/12) - The State Police fire investigator will be back in Shiawassee County's Byron on Wednesday to continue the investigation into a fire that destroyed parts of their historic downtown.
It happened early Monday morning in the 100 block of South Saginaw Street.
Janelle's Family Restaurant and Tower Hardware are a total loss.
Investigators believe the fire started in an apartment above the restaurant.
The State Police says they should know by days end the cause of the fire.
