Woman dies after car crashes into MTA vehicle - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(10/12/12) - In Genesee County, a woman has died after crashing her car into an MTA vehicle.

The accident happened around 9:30 Friday morning at the intersection of Center and Bristol roads in Burton.

Police say the woman, who was alone in a Chrysler Sebring,  was killed.  She was 21 years-old and from Holly.

Three people were aboard the 13 passenger Your Ride vehicle. The driver and one person inside the vehicle were injured.

"We'll be working with the law enforcement agencies to see if we can determine what did happen. It's unfortunate anytime we're involved in an accident, because obviously we have passengers on board and we have another vehicle involved here," said MTA general manager Ed Benning.

Burton police are investigating how the accident happened.
