(10/13/2012) Despite the rain, many college students in Flint came out to play a different kind of sport.
The Thunderstorm 2012 Collegiate Ultimate Frisbee Tournament kicked off Saturday morning at Kettering University.
Organizers use the tournament to demonstrate good sportsmanship among each other.
"It is a self-officiating sport at some levels, so if there is a foul called, if there is disputes, its between the players to work it out and it creates a lot more friendly environment and keeps people working together, even though they are on different teams, working together" said Captain Ken Kiminski.
