BAY COUNTY (WJRT) -
(10/16/12) - An early morning crash claimed the life of a 19-year-old Essexville man.
The Bay County Sheriff's Department says Peyton Schaefer missed a stop sign at the corner of Burns and Cass Avenue Roads, in Portsmouth Township.
His pick-up ended up in the ditch.
Schaefer's two friends were hurt in the crash as well.
The 19 and 22-year-olds are hospitalized in serious condition.
