(10/16/12) - Kewon Harris and D'Angelo Sawyers, both 15, now face trial for the June 8 shooting death of 14-year-old Antonio Bell Jr.
Bell was shot and killed, near the tennis courts, at Flint's Mott Park. He is Flint's youngest murder victim of 2012.
It was a tearful end to a tense couple of court hearings for Harris and Sawyers.
In September, following the start of their preliminary hearings, there was an altercation and even arrests.
Tuesday morning, 68th District Court Judge M. Cathy Dowd removed at least four teenagers, ages 14-17, telling them they should be in school and not court. Dowd then reminded everyone remaining to behave themselves.
One witness, who we have been asked to not identify, testified he saw Sawyers hand Harris a long gun, likely an AK-47.
The witness says Harris fired that gun at least once, but perhaps as many as four times.
At the conclusion of their preliminary hearings Tuesday, Sawyers cried. Harris showed no emotion.
Bell's family was wiping away tears.
