MT MORRIS TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(10/16/12) - A new road patch called PelletRAP will be tested on some roads in Mid-Michigan.
The system uses patches of gravel, sand, and recycled tires as an eco-friendly replacement for asphalt.
A representative for the company selling PelletRAP says the patches should be better suited for the extreme weather conditions here in Mid-Michigan.
The Genesee County Road Commission will conduct the tests this winter in Mt. Morris Township.
