Former dentist office employee pleads guilty to embezzlement - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(10/18/12) - A former dentist office employee in Midland will spend at least three years in prison for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Fifty-three-year-old Stephanie Cieslinski pleaded guilty to two embezzlement charges in August.

Thursday morning, she was sentenced to three to 20 years in prison, and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of a little more than $715,000.

Cieslinski was charged with embezzlement of nearly $1 million from Midland dentist Michael Smith, who employed her for about 10 years.

Her husband, Kenneth Cieslinski, also faces two counts of embezzlement and his case is still making its way through the court system.
