
(10/19/12) - There will soon be 20 new state troopers patrolling the streets of Mid-Michigan.
Seventy-eight new recruits were sworn in Friday, in Lansing, as part of the Michigan State Police force.
They will spread out to the 29-posts across the state.
Here in Mid-Michigan, seven will go to the tri-city post, four will go to Caro, and five will be working in Flint.
That brings the number of active troopers in the state to 965.
