(10/19/12) - An Oakland County man now faces an involuntary manslaughter charge after a bar fight turned deadly in Holly.
Thirty-seven-year-old Evan James Wells, of Fenton, faced a judge in Clarkston Friday morning.
He's being held on a $1 million bond in the Oakland County jail.
Police say last Friday, 43-year-old Ronald James Smith was punched by Wells while at Martini's Bar and Grill on Apollo Drive.
Smith fell and hit his head and was later found unconscious.
He died earlier this week, and the medical examiner ruled that blunt force trauma was to blame.
Wells is due back in court on Nov.1.
