BURTON (WJRT) -
(10/23/12) - A traffic accident in Burton Tuesday morning forced the closing of one lane of traffic.
Burton Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident that happened around 11 a.m. at the intersection Bristol Road and North Bound Grand Traverse.
The northbound car was exiting I-475 when it struck a Monte Carlo traveling westbound on Bristol.
The driver of the Monte Carlo had be to extracted from the vehicle by emergency personnel. He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No word yet on who was at fault.
