GENESEE TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(10/25/12) - Convicted killer Matthew Alder now faces trial in the 1993 murder of Wanda Musk in Genesee Township.
Online court records show Alder waived his preliminary exam in district court Wednesday.
Genesee Township Police say Alder will be in Genesee County for his next court appearance.
Alder is in an Upper Peninsula prison and had previously waived his presence at most of his future court hearings.
Police and prosecutors say DNA links him to Musk's murder.
He was charged last month.
