(10/25/12) - Two men suspected of operating a dog fighting ring in Flint have been formally charged.
Forty-seven-year-old Marvin Moore Senior faces three felony counts related to dog fighting.
In May, nearly 30 dogs were taken from Moore's home in the 2900 block of Seneca after Genesee county sheriff's deputies got a tip they were being trained to fight.
Investigators also found dog treadmills, thick chains and electric shock setups, which were used to make the dogs more aggressive.
Moore's 27-year-old son plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge for his role in caring for the dogs.
