(10/25/12) - Genesee County Commissioners have approved a $35 million revenue bond for construction of a water pipeline to Lake Huron.
County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright says if there's no public challenge within 45 days, he can begin selling those bonds.
In the meantime, he can also seek bids from contractors interested in working on the project.
The proposed pipeline would service a number of Mid-Michigan communities.
City leaders in Flint have not decided whether they will sign on to the project.
