SWARTZ CREEK (WJRT) -
(10/25/12) - The calendar says Oct. 25, but it felt much more like Aug. 25 in
Mid-Michigan Thursday.
The warm, sunny weather sent many outdoors - maybe even to play hooky.
ABC12 was out and about seeing what people were up to.
The perfect place on a day like Thursday was the golf course. We visited Genesee
Valley Meadows Golf Course, where they were jam-packed with golfers.
The owner says they've been busier the last two days than they have been all
summer - probably because people want to get out there and enjoy the weather one
more time before the snow flies.
Golfers say they haven't been out in months, so Thursday was fantastic.
This weather is doing great things for the golf course 's bottom line, too.
