SWARTZ CREEK (WJRT) -

(10/26/12) - Motivational speaker Clay Dyer spoke at Swartz Creek middle school Friday.

Born without legs, and only a partial right arm, he lets nothing slow him down.

Dyer coaches high school football and fishes on the Bassmaster Open Series, competing in fishing tournaments since he was 15 years old.

His competitors usually do a double take when he shows up to fish.

"They see me, it astonishes them a little bit and they're a little surprised. But they realize real quick like that I am able to do what I do and use no special equipment. It's a pretty cool deal to see from my end of things to see their amazement," Dyer said. "

If you'd like to see Clay Dyer in person, he'll be speaking at the Swartz Creek United Methodist church Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11.
