(10/31/12) - Some Mid-Michigan students got a hands-on political lesson Wednesday.
Davison High school held a mock election.
Using real voting machines, student cast votes for president, congress, plus the state and county proposals during English class.
It was also good practice for a few of the students old enough to vote next week.
The school's in-house TV station, D-TV, broadcast updates throughout the day.
The final results had President Obama beating Mitt Romney 56 to 37 percent, with 17 percent voting for other candidates.
