(11/08/12) - The man who confessed to killing a young Isabella County mother on Halloween - will now undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
That's new Thursday night, after a meeting between the prosecutor and the assigned public defender in the case.
55-year-old John D. White admitted to strangling 24-year-old Rebekah Gay, motivated by a sexual fantasy.
The ex-convict, and pastor of a small Mt. Pleasant church, has a criminal past detailing at least two other instances of extreme violence against women.
Rebekah Gay's funeral was Tuesday.
She leaves behind a 3-year-old son.
