(11/09/12) - An art exhibition opening next week in Detroit is looking to help build support for a Mid-Michigan man imprisoned in Iran.
Amir Hekmati has been imprisoned since August 2011 on espionage charges.
The exhibit is called "Jailed Humanity: In support of an American's Quest for freedom from an Iranian Prison."
Amir's sister Sarah Hekmati is the curator of the exhibit.
The exhibit opens Nov.17 and will run through Dec. 2 at 555 Nonprofit Gallery and Studios in Detroit.
