(11/15/12) - A recent audit shows Flint Community Schools with a $4 million deficit.
The information was presented to school board members Wednesday night.
The district also reported a deficit last year, forcing them to submit a deficit elimination plan to the state.
The plan calls for Flint Schools to be operating in the black by the end of 2013.
This year's deficit was more than projected, so the board members will have to amend the financial plan to make the up the money.
