TRAVERSE CITY (WJRT) -

(11/16/12) - Former Michigan first lady, Helen Milliken, has died.

The 89-year-old was our state's longest serving first lady.

She supported women's rights and the environment.

Milliken passed away in her Traverse City home Friday morning.
