GENESEE COUNTY (WJRT) -
(11/16/12) - Genesee County jurors have convicted a man accused in the murder and armed robbery of a Flint Township father and daughter.
Forty-five-year-old Marcus Lanes now faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole.
Seventy-eight-year-old Charles Woodson and 53-year-old Phyllis Woodson were found stabbed to death at Clover Tree Apartments in November last year.
Lanes was arrested the next day after a four hour standoff with police. Police believe he had a previous relationship with Phyllis.
