(11/16/12) - Convicted killer William Hoss has pleaded guilty in the 1985 shooting death of store clerk Darlene Paul.
DNA played a big part in the case.
A blood trail, at the murder scene, led to Hoss - who was already in prison for an unrelated murder.
Friday, in an agreement with prosecutors, Hoss pleaded guilty to second degree murder.
A gun charge was dismissed and he will also not face charges in another Flint homicide now.
47-year-old Hoss will spend at least 30 years in prison for Paul's death nearly 30 years ago - when sentenced next month.
