(11/17/12) - In Grand Blanc, there was a sweet treat at the end of its 5K race.
The race previously known as the 'Grand Blanc Road Race', debuted as the 'Grand Blanc Chocolate Run' Saturday.
"We have done this race for several years, and we have only been getting about 150 runners and walkers, to make it more worth while we decided we need a theme and everybody loves chocolate," said race director Mark Bauman about why they changed the race's name.
Waiting for runners at the end, was a chocolate fountain.
But the real winners are some local students. The race benefits the Grand Blanc cross country and track teams.
