(11/18/12) - A sign the holiday season is in full swing is Christmas trees.
The Junior League of Saginaw Valley had its annual Festival of Trees this weekend at Apple Mountain.
Hundreds of trees were decorated by various businesses and groups in the Great Lakes region.
The trees were raffled off.
Festival Chairperson Aileen Byrne-Hardem hopes the money will go to a good cause.
"The money is for different things we do in the community. Right now our signature project is the zoo they just finished. A playscape and the junior helped with funds and volunteers of people to help," she said.
